Documentary Family Photo - Skating, Tap, Laundry time, Bday party

Another fun-packed weekend in Farmington Hills! There never seems to be a dull moment when family surrounds you, which is what I love. We are all so very grateful for all the chaos, laughter, fighting, messes, food, and the mundane tasks turning into a party. Laundry turns into snuggle time and laughter. Sibling love/hate/play... It's just so nice. Beauty in the chaos.

This weekend in particular started with laundry, which turned into shmooshy faces, giggles, and kisses. The kids' birthday card for Mom is in the background of many of these images. They worked really hard on it and put all of their talents together. We played outside on the first sunny day we've had in a long, long time. I know these kids will love these photos when they are grown, remembering "the green house". The hockey boys helped out Maria with skating. I love the juxtaposition of her pink dress, hockey stick, and Dad, the hockey player, skating too.

(If you missed the skating/hockey "Day in the Life" session-it's a good one- you can check that out here:  https://lookatthebiggerpicture.com/blog/day-in-the-life-bozaan)

Maria invited us into her "Secret Garden," which is a turtle haven in the middle of a cul-de-sac. It's her own little magical world. Then, we started getting ready for the birthday party the next day for Joshie by blowing up Minecraft balloons.

At the very first tap class for Maria, she gave her stickers she received to Mom, Grandma, and me. What a sweetie. Now we were ready to party because Joshie is turning 6yrs old! Besties upside down on play sets being carefree... Well, kind of. They really cared about the cake, as you can see Maria eyeing it in Joshie's photos... Green and black frosting- yikes.

All in all, good times.
