Thank you to Karri, Brett, and Smith for choosing me to continue documenting your story! I'm so happy that I got to capture grandma and grandpa, while they were visiting from Australia over the holidays.

If you missed the Smith's newborn session, you can check it out here:

I love the warmth of this family, as well as their Aussie dialect, but I absolutley LOVE the faces grown-ups make at babies. I think I will have to do a book just on that-- just their faces alone. It makes you laugh. Bring some silliness to adulting too... It's a good idea.

Thank you so much for sharing your holiday family time!

FAMILY FALL FUN

Grand Rapids, MI

The Bumgardner Family! My lovely gal pal, Kathryn, was looking for the shiny-happy-faces-Christmas- card, but I just couldn't stop there. While we were waiting for pizza and wine, we headed out to the park for a brief-and cold!- very, very mini-session, before the dark settled in.

November family time is so warming, with the leaves, brisk fall nights, blankets, and red noses! This family is the cutest, but also always hilarious. Always animated, I am always entertained at the Bumgardner house!

Thanks for dinner and the vino, friend... ;)

Riverside Park Doggy Session

Grand Rapids, MI

Here's to my wonderful friend, Carleen, and her kiddo, Mojo. We are praying for Mojo's health and wanted to document their close relationship another year. In case you missed their last session, you can catch it here:

Mojo loves Riverside Park, as we all do in GR, so we went for some chill time at sunset.

I love that the book Carlee is reading is "How to Speak Dog", as Mojo is quite the diva. It's just funny to me. She has her own personality for sure and will let you know how she feels. She is playful and sweet, but do not tick her off. Silent treatment with a nose in the air. I will always and forever think of Mojo when there are fireworks, from all the scaredy-cat stories. It's ok, Mojo. I just want to hug her all week of the 4th of July.

I know that they've been there for each other through a lot over the years. Best friends such as these should be on camera.

Thank you for letting me capture the love you have for each other! Enjoy the preview:
