Rainy, Snowy, Engagement Kalamazoo-Chelsea and Brock

Kalamazoo, MI

I am so grateful that Chelsea and Brock found me!! What amazing people!! I know that we would be best buds if they lived here (they live in Texas). They met with me on their way to meet family for the holidays- a 60 hour road trip, I believe! That is impressive, I must say.

This session was soooo much fun. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends. The day was pretty wet and dreary, but I think you will see that beautiful, romantic images can come from the rain! Proof that you shouldn't always cancel just because of the weather...

We lucked out at Western (where they met) and ran into some theatre pals, so we were allowed to photograph inside their old stompin' grounds. How cool is that? I also have spent some days in an auditorium and a Black Box (we have a lot in common), so it was really nice to be able to photograph them in "the theatre world". By the way, Chelsea is a professional model. She is that gorgeous in real life.

Chelsea and Brock are so warm and bubbly-- full of life and love. That warmth came in handy at the Kalamazoo Walking Mall. They were troopers in the cold. I love the rainy shots with all the lights in the background. Beautiful people turned this into a beautiful day!

I can't wait to photograph this wedding. Cannot Wait.

Here is a sneak peek of their session...

Lilia Bozaan!! The Bozaan Family Holland, MI

I am so excited I got to spend some time with cutie-pa-tootie, Ms. Lilia! She is already 9 months old and keeping Dave and Tara on their toes. She definitely kept me moving for this session- she's really fast!

It feels like yesterday that I photographed Dave and Tara's wedding. Wow, time flies. I am so happy for them! What a wonderful family. I love that they asked me to keep documenting their adventures! I am looking forward to some wine with these two in the near future.

Here's a little preview of our afternoon:

Happy Fall! Lukey and Joshy

Livonia, MI

My nephews!!! Love these two so, so much! They had fun with "Aunt Boo", Grandma, and Grandpa. I had to share! Yes, I am "Aunt Boo"-- Luke started that when he was first talking because of the little game we would play. It stuck and I love it.
