Camp Pendalouan Wedding- Noelle and LIZA

Camp Pendalouan
Montague, MI

Congratulations Noelle and Liza! What a fun and unique place to celebrate. Guests stayed at Camp Pendalouan, on the water in Montague, MI. The ceremony was majestic, set up by the lake, with the sun popping in through the woods. I loved that the four grandmas were the flower girls! The evening festivities included canoes and cocktails by the main lodge, and dancing and sparklers under the stars.

Noelle and Liza are such a wonderful match. They met online back in 2022, with Noelle winning mini golf. That first date included a surprise carnival with rides, games, and a first elephant ear. They say the rest is history.

They both proposed. How cute is that? The first proposal was at Hoffmaster State Park, hiking through the woods where Liza had set up little notes and poems for Noelle to find. Liza popped the question at the beach, based on their second date when they hiked to the beach for a picnic. At some point, Liza was swarmed by beatles but played it super cool.

The second proposal happened after a nice dinner and walk down the pier in Grand Haven, where Liza grew up. It was super cold and windy, but that didn’t stop Noelle from getting down on one knee.

Best wishes to you both on many adventures to come!

THE FELT MANSION WEDDING- LeAnn and Dan

THE FELT ESTATE
HOLLAND, MI

Congratulations to Leann and Dan! What a beautiful ceremony at The Felt Mansion, surrounded by water at the fountain, and surrounded by the bridal party of Dan and Leann’s daughters, son, and daughters’ boyfriends. It was very relaxed, from getting ready all the way through to the end of the partying. The rain even held off until we were all inside for dinner! Rain is good luck for a wedding, so it was even better luck that we still got to have the ceremony outside right before the downfall.

These two met through an internet dating service in December 2012. For their first date they saw a jazz Christmas special concert and had dinner at the Knight Cap in Lansing. They took things slowly and Dan proposed in December 2018 during dinner out with LeAnn’s daughters. It was a complete surprise. They had planned a September 2020 wedding, but Covid-19 had other plans and they postponed until 2021.

LeAnn and Dan bought their first house together in November 2020. They both like to take walks, ride bikes, play golf, and win money at the casino together! Their honeymoon was spent in Costa Rica!

Dan and LeAnn, thank you for trusting me to document your story. I hope you two keep having wonderful adventures together. You have a beautiful family.

WINTER WONDERLAND WEDDING- MCKAY BALLROOM

Grand rapids, mi
mckay tower
basilica of st. adalbert
JWMARRIOTT

Congratulations to Lexi and Josh!! What a beautiful winter wonderland wedding! It was gorgeous— just as gorgeous as these two.

They met through Bumble, but actually met a few years prior. Two years ago, they had their first date at Maru, in East Lansing, and have been together ever since. On their one-year anniversary, Josh set up the surprise proposal. They went on a carriage ride that stopped on the Blue Bridge. It was decorated with rose petals, candles, and wooden blocks of their initials. After Lexi said yes, they were dropped off at the Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, where their families were waiting.

You can see that the Blue Bridge was in full view at the JWMarriott, where Lexi was getting ready. I also loved that we got to stroll through where we had their engagement session! If you missed that, please check it out here:
